Wiserfolio ("we", "us") operates wiserfolio.com (the "Service"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
What we collect
- Account information: when you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address to create and identify your account.
- Portfolio statements you upload: the PDF you submit for analysis.
- Generated reports: the analysis we produce, saved to your account so you can revisit it.
- Basic technical data: standard server logs (IP address, timestamps) used for security and abuse prevention.
How we handle your portfolio PDF
Your uploaded PDF is processed in memory to generate your report and is not retained as a stored file after processing. We save the resulting report (holdings summary and analysis) to your account so your history is available to you. You can delete your reports and account at any time from your settings.
How we use your information
- To generate and deliver your portfolio analysis.
- To maintain your account and report history.
- To protect the Service from abuse and fraud.
- To communicate with you about the Service (for example, support replies).
Third parties
To provide the Service we use trusted processors, including: Google (sign-in), Anthropic (the AI that analyzes your statement), and our hosting provider. These parties process data only to perform their function. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Data security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Your rights
